Philippines’ Electric Vehicle Industry Roadmap Envisioned with India's WardWizzard

Makati City, Philippines – September 19, 2025– The Philippines is taking a bold step toward a cleaner, greener future with the upcoming arrival of 4,000 brand-new electric vehicles (EVs), made possible through a partnership with Wardwizard Innovations & Mobility Ltd. of India.

The EVs—set to be delivered in phases—include 3,500 electric tricycles (E-Trikes), 500 Mihos electric scooters, and 500 light commercial electric trucks designed for everyday transport and logistics needs.

“This is more than just a shipment of vehicles—it’s a movement for healthier cities, affordable transport, and a sustainable way of life,” said Noubikko P. Ulanday, CEO of RPConnect. “By introducing thousands of electric vehicles into our streets, we are helping reduce pollution, lower emissions, and make eco-friendly transport accessible to more Filipinos.”

Electric vehicles not only cut carbon emissions but also lower everyday transport costs. For commuters, drivers, and small businesses, the adoption of E-Trikes, scooters, and electric trucks means more savings, quieter streets, and cleaner air for communities across the country.

The initiative supports the Philippines’ Electric Vehicle Industry Roadmap, which envisions millions of EVs on the road by 2028 and cleaner cities by 2040. With charging stations rapidly expanding nationwide, more Filipinos will soon have access to reliable and sustainable transport options.

This is the future of transportation where progress is green, practical, and inclusive.
