A football match inspired Paledusk‘s next song. Yes, really.

After experiencing the intensity of football in the UK, Paledusk turned that energy into “GOLDEN GOAL“, a new single packed with heavy sounds, explosive momentum and a message about continuing to chase the goal in front of you. The track captures the passion and heat of the stadium while reflecting the band’s own drive to keep pushing forward.

Heavy instrumentation and a sense of urgency recreate the rush of the game, while the song’s message looks beyond the final score. At its core is the idea of aiming for the goal you want, taking on challenges and continuing to move forward even when the destination is still out of reach.

The track arrives at a particularly active moment for Paledusk. The four-piece from Fukuoka has spent years building an international presence, signing with Australia’s Grayscale Records in 2020, EU/UK booking agency Avocado Bookings in 2021 and U.S. label SharpTone Records in 2023. Since then, the band has continued performing at festivals and live shows overseas, bringing its genre-defying sound to audiences well beyond Japan.

That international reach has also extended into an expanding list of collaborations. Paledusk joined Awich, CHICO CARLITO and ONE OK ROCK for the “YAO” project, while guitarist DAIDAI has become increasingly sought after as a composer and arranger both in Japan and overseas. His credits include production work on Bring Me The Horizon’s album “POST HUMAN: NeX GEn”, which reached No. 1 on the iTunes Rock Album Chart and peaked at No. 3 on the overall iTunes Album Chart. He also worked on Lil Uzi Vert’s “The End feat. BABYMETAL”, while Paledusk collaborated with ONE OK ROCK on three tracks from their album “DETOX”: “Puppets Can’t Control You”, “C.U.R.I.O.S.I.T.Y. feat. Paledusk and CHICO CARLITO” and “+Matter”.

Now, with “GOLDEN GOAL”, the band takes inspiration from a completely different field and turns it into something unmistakably their own.

About Paledusk

Since signing with Australian label “Grayscale Records” in 2020, EU/UK’s “Avocado Bookings” in 2021, and American label “SharpTone Records” in 2023, the band has continued to advance, performing at numerous overseas festivals and live shows. Paledusk is a four-piece band from Fukuoka consisting of KAITO (vocals), DAIDAI (guitar), TSUBASA (guitar) and BOB (drums). He handled composition and arrangement for Lil Uzi Vert’s “The End ft. BABYMETAL,” and on ONE OK ROCK’s new album “DETOX,” he co-wrote and arranged three tracks with the band: “Puppets Can’t Control You,” “C.U.R.I.O.S.I.T.Y. feat. Paledusk and CHICO CARITO,” and “+Matter.” Having realised collaborations with numerous world-class artists, the band has earned recognition in both name and substance.
