6ENSE Wins Rising Boy Group of the Year at 11th PPOP Music Awards
Performing at the Big Dome was already a milestone for 6ENSE. Winning Rising Boy Group of the Year at the 11th PPOP Music Awards made the night even more memorable.
The group had not expected to receive the award. They thanked their fans and shared the recognition with them, crediting their support as one of the biggest reasons they keep pushing forward.
The win comes during a busy stretch for 6ENSE, with new music and a packed schedule of upcoming events. The group considers that workload a blessing and says the pressure helps keep them moving.
At the awards ceremony, 6ENSE performed a new version of “Piliin Mo Ako” before surprising the audience with an unreleased song, “Kitang Kita Kita,” featuring Chicser.
Chicser’s unexpected appearance brought the group back to the stage after time away from performing. They also received the PPOP Frontier Award that night.
For 6ENSE, sharing their Big Dome debut with Chicser was an experience to be thankful for. They expressed their appreciation to the group for accepting the collaboration and making time for rehearsals despite their busy schedules.
Chicser, in turn, praised 6ENSE’s talent, work ethic, and professionalism throughout the preparations.
“Kitang Kita Kita” was written by Wiji after RS Francisco approached him with the idea of a song about friendship. Supported by Francisco and their Luxxe White family, the project brought the two groups together for recording sessions and their surprise awards-night performance.
Their latest release, “11:11,” is out under Star Music and was written and produced by Kiko Salazar. “Kitang Kita Kita” is set to follow soon.
With their Big Dome goal now fulfilled, 6ENSE hopes to perform at the SM Mall of Asia Arena and the Philippine Arena in the future. For now, there are more events to prepare for and a new award to celebrate with the fans who helped them get this far.
