Taytay Explores Solar Energy Collaboration with Amsteel Structures and Dantru Development Corp.

In a strong move toward sustainable development, Amsteel Structures Inc. and Dantru Development Corp. recently joined forces with the Local Economic Development and Investment Promotion Office (LEDIPO) to explore a potential solar energy project for Taytay. The initiative signals the municipality’s commitment to clean energy, local jobs, and responsible investments.

The discussions were spearheaded by Sir Aaron Kaw, Executive Vice President of Amsteel Structures Inc., and Mary Ann Dizon, Senior Administrative Associate, reflecting the company’s interest in applying its structural engineering expertise to renewable energy solutions. LEDIPO, guided by Mayor Allan De Leon and coordinated by Atty. Dustin Regalado, Officer-in-Charge, along with Cristina F. Gonzales and the LEDIPO team (Meme Borja, AC Santos, and Warren Sedan), ensured smooth collaboration between all parties.

From the private sector, Dantru Development Corp. was represented by President Floriendelyn L. Sibonga, COO Arsenio R. Robledo Jr., and CFO Rita A. Sibonga, joined by RPConnect CEO Noubikko Ulanday. The group focused on assessing the feasibility of the project and aligning it with Taytay’s development goals.

A hands-on site visit and ocular inspection followed, led by Ms. Sibonga, the project architect, and Engr. Jojo, examining the proposed location for technical, structural, and solar installation considerations. The visit drew on Amsteel Structures’ expertise in construction and engineering to ensure a practical and efficient approach.

While still in the early stages, the initiative highlights Taytay’s forward-thinking approach, with the private sector and local government collaborating to bring clean energy, sustainable investment, and future employment opportunities to the community.
