Cinema One’s Blockbuster Sundays Brings ‘Buybust’ and ‘Bantay-Bahay’ this December
Anne Curtis’ action-thriller flick “BuyBust” and Pepe Herrera’s comedy horror film “Bantay-Bahay” are set to premiere on Cinema One this December.The cable channel’s Blockbuster Sundays, airing every Sunday at 7pm, features Pepe Herrera’s perfect combo of thrill and laughter in “Bantay-Bahay” (Dec. 8) where he plays the role of a vlogger who investigates a haunted house and the lurking restless spirit that resides in it. Meanwhile, Anne Curtis’ gripping character as a special ops agent will captivate viewers as she uncovers the dark and deceitful secrets of the war on drugs in “BuyBust” (Dec. 29). Also joining the Sunday block are previous Metro Manila Film Fest (MMFF) entries “Jack Em Popoy: The Puliscredibles” starring Coco Martin, Maine Mendoza, and Vic Sotto (Dec. 15) and Anne Curtis and Vice Ganda’s “The Mall The Merrier” (Dec. 22). Cinema One is also bringing a special holiday treat with their Christmas movie marathon on Dec. 25. Enthralling stories of superheroes make their way in Cinema One’s Friday action. Catch Vhong Navarro’s “Gagamboy” on Dec. 6, Ai-Ai Delas Alas and Marian Rivera’s “Kung Fu Divas” on Dec. 13, Vice Ganda, Daniel Padilla, and Pia Wurtzbach’s “Gandarrapiddo: The Revenger Squad” on Dec. 20, and Coco Martin’s “Ang Panday” on Dec. 27 airing at 9pm every first and third Friday and at 10pm every second and fourth Friday.
