THE Commission on Elections (Comelec) released on Saturday the initial list of approved online campaign platforms for 29 senatorial candidates and 85 party-list organizations participating in the May 2025 midterm elections. In a social media post, Comelec announced that various platforms, including Facebook, X (formerly Twitter), and Instagram, have been approved for candidates and party-list groups who have fully complied with registration requirements. "The Commission En Banc has approved the registrations of online campaign platforms of fully compliant candidates and parties in the 2025 National and Local Elections and BARMM Parliamentary Elections under Comelec Minute Resolution 25-0167 dated 7 February 2025," it said. Among the senatorial candidates listed are Adonis Ronaldo Mangampo, Jocelyn Santos Andamo, Paolo Benigno "Bam" Aquino IV, Ronnel Gondraneos Arambulo, James Patrick Romero Bondoc, Ramon "Bong" Revilla Jr., Bonifacio Laqui Bosita, Arlene Duran Brosas, Francisca Lustina Castro, David Delano D'Angelo, Angelo Castro De Alban, and Ronald "Bato" Dela Rosa. Other approved candidates are Eufimia Pet Doringo, Modesto Toque Florida, Christopher Lawrence "Bong" Go, Jesus Jr. Villanueva Hinlo, Wilbert Te Lee, Almirah Ali Lidasan, Rodante Dizon Marcoleta, Maria Imelda "Imee" Romualdez Marcos, Norman Cordero Marquez, Liza Largoza Maza, Francis Pancratius Nepomuceno Pangilinan, Apollo Carreon Quiboloy, Danilo Hernandez Ramos, Wilfredo Buendia Revillame, Francis Ng Tolentino, Bienvenido Teshiba Tulfo, and Erwin Teshiba Tulfo. The poll body has also approved the online campaign platforms of 85 party-list organizations, including 4Ps, FPJ Panday Bayanihan, Kabataan, ML, Bicol Saro, Ipatupad, Patrol, United Senior Citizens, Epanaw Sambayanan, and Ako Padayon. The full list can be accessed at the Comelec website under the Approved Online Platforms–Partylist. The campaign period for national positions officially began on Feb. 11 and will run until May 10.
