Anne Curtis Backs Bam Aquino’s Senate Bid
The senatorial bid of former Senator and independent candidate Bam Aquino gained significant momentum with endorsements from actress/TV host Anne Curtis, comedian Alex Calleja, and veteran actor Edu Manzano. Alex took to X (formerly Twitter) to share a screenshot of Bam’s Nov. 9, 2017 press release on the Senate website highlighting the Free College Law. “Bakit si Senator Bam Aquino? Libreng Tuition! Daig pa ang ayuda, kinabukasan ng inyong mga anak ang makikinabang! Pakisama po sa listahan niyo. Salamat,” wrote Alex. Anne amplified the endorsement by sharing Alex’s post with a resounding “Yes!!” as her caption, signaling her agreement that Bam deserves a Senate seat in the upcoming May elections. Edu also expressed his support by joining the “No. 5” campaign for Bam on his social media account. “Sama-sama nating isulong ang Libreng Kolehiyo at Siguradong Trabaho para sa bawat pamilyang Pilipino. #5 sa Balota! AQUINO, BAM!,” Edu said in his post.
