Jordan Astra Gets Lucky with Alluring New Single ‘Sunrise Roulette’

When he returned, Astra worked with collaborators Jhyve and Sascha to bring “Sunrise Roulette” to life. The sunshine and beaches on his trip deeply influenced the track, and is evident in the blissful rhythm and tropical groove that brings to mind images of being bathed in the golden glow of the sun. A student of Soul and R&B, Astra has crafted a sound that blends the musical styling of Pharrell and Jamiroquai with subtle influences from Bruno Mars and SG Lewis, creating something uniquely his own. Astra started his career at university, where he was making beats. Over the years, he produced for local artists but felt collaborations never moved fast enough.
