MANILA, Philippines — The city government of Caloocan has obtained an audit rating of 100 percent from the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) for its performance in maintaining peace and order in the city.
In giving a perfect rating, the DILG’s National Capital Region (NCR) field office particularly described Caloocan’s peace and order council (POC) as “highly functional” due to its outstanding performance and
innovations in fulfilling its responsibility to create peaceful and safe communities.
Mayor Dale Gonzalo Malapitan thanked the DILG for recognizing their efforts in ensuring the city remains safe.
Malapitan reiterated that while such recognitions from national agencies exhibit the effectiveness of the city government’s programs, his administration will remain committed and vigilant in protecting the rights and interests of residents.
