Palace bares latest appointments in Marcos admin

The Presidential Communications Office (PCO) disclosed new appointments in the Marcos administration, specifically in the Office of the President and the Department of Foreign Affairs.

The PCO said that Reichel Quiñones was named as the Chief of Presidential Protocol.

In the Department of Foreign Affairs, the following officials have been appointed as well:

  • Eduardo de Vega (Undersecretary)
  • Jose Eduardo Antonio (Ambassador-at-Large)
  • Maria Theresa Almojuela (ad interim Chief of Mission, Class I)
  • Bernadette Fernandez (ad interim Chief of Mission, Class I)
  • Robert Ferrer Jr. (ad interim Chief of Mission, Class II)
  • Kristine Salle (ad interim Chief of Mission, Class II)
  • Johaira Wahab-Manantan (ad interim Career Minister)
  • Lorena Banagodos (ad interim Career Minister)
  • Joselito Jacinto Jr. (ad interim Career Minister)
  • John Reyes (ad interim Career Minister)
  • Darell Artates (ad interim Foreign Service Officer, Class I)
  • Theodore Bauzon (ad interim Foreign Service Officer, Class I)
  • Janina Bustos Borromeo (ad interim Foreign Service Officer, Class I)
  • Candy Cypres-Bauzon (ad interim Foreign Service Officer, Class I)
  • Nicole De Castro (ad interim Foreign Service Officer, Class I)
  • Alexander Estomo (ad interim Foreign Service Officer, Class I)
  • Alan Gabriola (ad interim Foreign Service Officer, Class I)
  • Ma. Charmaine Guevara (ad interim Foreign Service Officer, Class I)
  • Alvin Malasig (ad interim Foreign Service Officer, Class I)
  • Shirley Nuevo (ad interim Foreign Service Officer, Class I)
  • Anne Salvador (ad interim Foreign Service Officer, Class I)

Earlier, Marcos expressed hope that the newly-appointed officials and officers of various government offices would continue to demonstrate excellence and integrity in performing their duties.
